Rwanda participated in the World Family Office Forum Europe 2026, a gathering of leading family offices, investors and business leaders held in Montreux, Switzerland.

The forum provided a platform for discussions on investment trends, innovation, wealth stewardship, emerging markets and opportunities for international partnerships. It brought together family office principals, investment executives and business leaders from across Europe and beyond to exchange perspectives on global investment opportunities and economic developments.

Representing Rwanda were Ambassador Urujeni Bakuramutsa and Michelle Umurungi, Chief Investment Officer at the Rwanda Development Board (RDB).

During the forum, CIO Umurungi delivered a keynote presentation on “The Rwanda Opportunity” and participated in a panel discussion on opportunities in emerging economies. The discussions highlighted Rwanda’s investment opportunities, business-friendly environment and commitment to creating a conducive climate for private sector growth and long-term investment.

Rwanda’s participation provided an opportunity to engage with investors and business leaders, promote the country’s economic potential, and explore partnerships that can contribute to its sustainable development and economic transformation agenda.
